This policy explains what you may and may not do with Avrony (avrony.com and its apps, such as studio.avrony.com). It's part of our Terms of Service and applies to everyone in a workspace, including guests. It exists to keep Avrony safe and reliable for you, your clients and every other customer.
Use Avrony for real work, within the law
Avrony is for running your business: clients, projects, tasks, time, proposals, contracts and invoices. You're responsible for how you and your team use it, and for following the laws that apply to you and your clients.
What you must not do
- Break any law, or help someone else do so, including fraud, money laundering or evading sanctions.
- Upload or share content that is illegal, infringes someone else's copyright, trademark or privacy, or that you don't have the right to use.
- Harass, threaten or abuse anyone, or share hateful, violent or sexually explicit content involving minors.
- Mislead people: impersonate another person or business, send fake invoices, or use client portals, proposals or contracts to trick someone (phishing).
- Upload malware, or links meant to harm devices or steal information.
- Collect payment for goods or services you don't intend to provide, or take payments for someone else's business.
Email and messages to your clients
- Send invoices, proposals, contracts, portal links and reminders only to people you actually do business with.
- Don't use Avrony for marketing campaigns, newsletters or bulk messages to people who didn't ask for them.
- If a recipient asks you to stop, stop.
Security
- Don't try to access accounts, workspaces or data that aren't yours, or get round limits, permissions or security measures.
- Don't probe, scan or test Avrony's systems for weaknesses without our written permission. If you find a problem, tell us at hello@avrony.com and we'll work with you.
- Keep sign-in details to yourself: each person uses their own account. Use roles to give access instead of sharing passwords.
- Keep API keys secret and use them only for your own workspace's integrations.
Fair use of the service
- Don't overload Avrony, for example with automated requests far beyond normal use, or try to disrupt it for others.
- Don't copy, resell or rent out Avrony, or use it to build a competing product.
- Store files and data that belong to your work; Avrony isn't a general file-hosting service.
Your clients' information
When you add your clients' details to Avrony, you're responsible for having the right to do so and for handling them as the law requires. Only invite people into your workspace who need access, and remove access when they no longer do.
Reporting a problem
If you see something on Avrony that breaks this policy, such as a suspicious invoice or portal link, please tell us at hello@avrony.com. Include the link and what you noticed; we'll look into every report.
What happens if this policy is broken
Depending on how serious it is, we may remove the content, warn you, limit features, or suspend or close the workspace. Where it's urgent, for example to protect other people or the service, we may act first and explain afterwards. Where we reasonably can, we'll give you a chance to fix things and to export your data.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as Avrony grows. If a change matters, we'll tell you by email or in the app before it takes effect.
